Legend Of Zelda: Fanfiction pg 1

    "C'mon Mallory! What I want to show you is over here!" screamed her little brother as he ran behind the big white and blue stable.  "IM COMING!" She huffed walking rather slowly. She didn't give a care of what Jimmy had to show her, although she didn't want to admit she was a tad curious.  Her blond bangs hung in her face as she trudged up the hill behind the barn, when she got to the top she blew them out of her face so she could see where her brother went. "Jimmy?! Where are you!" she asked starting to become irritated.  She looked around holding her hand up to block the blazing setting sun. She started to walk down the hill then a voice called out. "MALLORY COME LOOK!!!" He screamed. Mallory quickened her pace and ran to where her little brother was, he was examining the earth next to one of their family's old plow.  "What is so fasi- what is that?!" Her eyes examined a giant feather the size of her little brothers torso, it was red in color with a purple and gold tip. "I don't know, I figured you would know being older.... I found it this morning. It just fell from the sky." he said with wonder. Mallory bent over and picked up the feather and was shocked to feel that the feather was somewhat heavy, "Well... this belonged to a bird. But I never seen anything like it!  No bird on the earth could have such a giant feather and this red... its too bold." She flipped the feather over and held it to the light. "Is it real?" Jimmy asked. "i don't see a trademark anywhere, and it doesn't looked dyed...That doesn't make sense.  It has to be fake" The feather shined in the setting glow of the sun, it was so weird. Mallory knew it wasn't from here. "Maybe it was a bird being shipped to a zoo, a rare bird." She said trying to come to a conclusion.
      The sun was falling away from them fast the night steadily creeping into view. "KIDS! COME INSIDE!" Their mom called out to them in the darkness. "Last one home is a rotten egg!" Jimmy called as he ran back to the white house.  Mallory looked on smiling then gazed at the feather in her hands. She didn't want to loose it, it had a strange air to it, like she knew who's it belong to. Mallory felt as if she had seen it before. After a while Jimmy looked back and called. Mallory shook her head to stop daydreaming and put the brilliantly red feather in her pocket and ran back to the house.  The clouds moved slowly across the sky and mallory felt that something other than birds and clouds existed there.
